STEETH ALIGNMENT WITH ALIGNERS

What is it?
Teeth alignment with clear aligners is a modern orthodontic treatment method that offers patients exceptional comfort and high-quality results. Unlike traditional metal braces, clear aligners are virtually invisible, allowing for discreet treatment. They are also removable, enabling patients to maintain their regular oral hygiene routine and enjoy their favourite foods without restrictions.
When is it necessary?
Clear aligners can address common orthodontic issues such as:
- Malocclusion (improper bite)
- Tooth rotation
- Crowded teeth
- Excessive spacing between teeth
These conditions can affect both the appearance and function of your teeth, potentially leading to difficulties in chewing, speaking, and increased risk of dental issues due to hard-to-clean areas.
Procedure Steps:
- Comprehensive Examination: In just 30–45 minutes, the dental care specialist conducts a digital dental assessment, including a 3D scan, computed tomography, lateral cephalogram, and orthodontic photographs.
- Treatment Plan: Based on the examination, the orthodontist provides a treatment plan during an in-person or remote consultation, detailing the estimated duration and cost.
- Digital Simulation: A detailed digital plan of the teeth alignment process is created and presented to the patient, visually demonstrating the entire treatment journey.
- Aligner Fabrication: The dental care specialist performs a 3D scan of your teeth, and the aligners are ordered from a selected manufacturer.
- Treatment Initiation: The longest visit, lasting 60–90 minutes, where the dental care specialist and orthodontist adapt the personal clear aligners to the patient. After a thorough consultation, the patient continues the treatment independently.
- Ongoing Care: Visits are scheduled approximately every 3–4 months. During these visits, the dental care specialist performs 3D scans and other assessments, while the orthodontist evaluates progress and provides remote recommendations.
- Retention Phase: Upon successful treatment, the patient wears a retainer to maintain the new tooth positions. It’s recommended to have professional oral hygiene before placing the retainer. The patient receives detailed information about ongoing dental care and preventive visits.
